BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – A man arrested Monday in Brevard County is accused of stealing a car that he test drove at a dealership, only to be caught in the vehicle while ordering food at a drive-thru, according to the sheriff’s office.
Kenneth Miller, 19, faces charges of grand theft of a motor vehicle and driving with license suspended, revoked or canceled with knowledge (second offence) in connection to the case, records show.

Deputies had taken a report about the stolen vehicle earlier Monday, noting it was allegedly driven away from a Melbourne Kia dealership the day prior, Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey said on social media.
Later Monday, however, Ivey said that a deputy found the same vehicle in the drive-thru of a McDonald’s along West King Street and soon worked with Cocoa police to move in.
Deputy Keith Grosse of our Ag/Marine Unit subsequently observed the vehicle in the McDonald’s drive-thru line, pulled up to the menu board placing an order, possibly for a Hamburglar Happy Meal!! Dep. Grosse pulled in behind the vehicle like he was lining up to place an order as well and then shortly after our partners from Cocoa PD arrived on scene to help block the vehicle in!!

Miller, who Ivey said was the car’s driver and sole occupant, allegedly told deputies that he didn’t have a driver’s license. He was taken into custody, the sheriff said, adding he was already out on bond for other matters.
Ivey said the 19-year-old was one of two males who test drove the vehicle a few days prior before returning only one of two working sets of keys.
“BCSO Agents believe Miller and the other suspect switched the set of keys during the test drive, allowing them to come back and steal the vehicle with no problems,” the sheriff said.
Miller is being held on no bond amount pursuant to his prior charges.
