ORLANDO, Fla. – A Honduran gang member was caught and arrested in Orlando last month after having been deported years ago, according to Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
In a criminal complaint, an investigator said that the gang member— Aron Morazan-Izaguirre — was a citizen of Honduras and had been apprehended by Border Patrol in California back in 2019.

“Morazan-Izaguirre was identified through an official law enforcement investigation as a member of the 18th Street Gang, which is a violent gang originating from Central America,” the complaint reads.
While he was removed from the U.S. later that year, a federal investigator revealed that Morazan-Izaguirre had filed an application for a federal visa on Jan. 19, 2025.
As part of the application, Morazan-Izaguirre submitted his fingerprints, which investigators said put him on their radar due to his gang affiliations.
“FDNS classified Morazan-Izaguirre as an egregious public safety concern,” the complaint continues.
On April 25, investigators found Morazan-Izaguirre near an apartment complex in Orlando where he had been living, and he was ultimately placed under arrest, court records state.
On Thursday, ICE announced that he was indicted on a charge of re-entry as a “deported alien.”
