14 new ALDI stores coming to Florida. Here’s where they’ll open

ALDI has previewed grand openings for 14 upcoming stores across the Sunshine State, further expanding the chain’s reach in Florida.

While ALDI is also planning stores in many other parts of the country, it appears as though Florida will be getting the bulk of the newly announced locations.

“We’re thrilled to open our doors and offer your community a new grocery store focused on quality and savings,” the chain’s website reads. “Shoppers will discover everyday low prices on groceries and household essentials, including fresh produce, organic foods, fresh meat and seafood, and ALDI-exclusive brands that match the quality of national name brands at a fraction of the price.”

ALDI announced last year that it was planning to open an additional 800 stores across the nation by the end of 2028, using a combination of new locations and store conversions.

According to the company, its southeast expansion has been aided by ALDI’s acquisition of Southeastern Grocers, which is the parent company behind Winn-Dixie and Harveys Supermarkets.

“With a long history of serving the Southeast, our steadfast commitment to helping our customers stretch their hard-earned dollars has remained a constant priority," Southeastern Grocers CEO Anthony Hucker said. “As we begin this next chapter, we will continue to deliver the quality, service and value our customers have come to expect from us.”
